Casual Tuesday: My Go-To Fall Uniform

Casual Tuesday: My Go-To Fall Uniform

Happy Casual Tuesday! It has been awhile since we did an OOTD post on here so I wanted to share my go-to fall outfit! A chunky skin sweater paired with jeans and booties is the ultimate fall uniform. This outfit will be on repeat for me. Most of these items pictured are on sale! Outfit details are listed at the bottom of this post!

For any of you ladies located in the Chicago area, you have to make a trip out to the Nordstrom Last Chance store located in the Yorktown mall (about a 45 min drive from the city). For anyone unfamiliar, the Last Chance store has all items that have not been sold from Nordstrom & Nordstrom Rack. TBH- the place iiiis a bit of a sh*t show (haha!) so pack your patience. You do have to do some digging and sifting through the racks, but there are so many items in new condition to be discovered at major discounts. I was able to land the scalloped sweater pictured above for $10 (originally $50)!! (Nordstrom has an almost identical sweater I linked at the bottom of this post!) I also got a pair of OTK boots brand new for $20 (originally priced at $200).

I have been living in these jeans I picked up at Express (legging cut). They have so much stretch and are by far my most worn pair. Express is currently discounting all jeans by 40%! I love this, this and this pair!

A good fall bootie is a closet staple. I am obsessed with this perforated pair from Lucky Brand. The heel height makes this pair perfect for everyday wear and can also be dressed up for an evening out. I also love the zipper detail. This pair is currently on sale and comes in both tan and black!

50 Under $50: Sales To Snag Before The New Year

Hi Dolls! We hope everyone had an amazing Christmas. I was running all over the place with family here in Illinois. Meanwhile, Julianna was wasting away on the beach down in Siesta Key, (poor thing..jk, but not really.)

Anyway, we’ve been slowly recuperating from the holiday, just in time for NYE to kick us in the ass again. The one thing we can always count on to make us feel better is a little online shopping. Just in case Santa didn’t bring you everything you wanted this year, check out these mega steals that you can snag before 2017 officially begins. We’ve compiled a list of the 50 best finds that are all on sale for less than $50!

Casual Outfits For Your Thanksgiving Feast

causal-holiday-looks-7

It’s already the week of Thanksgiving! Call me crazy, but I offered to host our family for Thanksgiving this year. I’ve been spending so much time prepping my house for the festivities, that I completely forgot to think about what I’ll be wearing! Not sure about you ladies, but typically I like to stay pretty casual for Thanksgiving. I think Christmas should be a little bit dressier, so I’ll enjoy my jeans while I still can.

My Favorite Topshop Tunic Dress

Is it just me, or do you find yourself loving outfits even more when you buy them on sale? I’ve been looking for a cute long sleeve dress that I could wear during this transition to spring, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on something I’d probably only wear a couple times. I was shopping at Nordstrom the other day, and I couldn’t pass up this amazing steal. This Topshop Ribbed Long Sleeve Tunic Dress (regularly $45) is currently price-matched at Nordstrom for $30 (Available HERE.) It comes in pink, olive green, gray, and camel. It’s so comfortable and has plenty of stretch. I’m wearing a 4 US, but if I was any taller, I’d go with the next size up.

I’m also obsessed with this BP. crossbody bag from Nordstrom (Available HERE.) It comes in black and cognac and is only $32! This is my go-to bag for nights out and concerts when I don’t want to take a chance and ruin an expensive bag. Unfortunately, these Steve Madden fringe heels are no longer in stock. But I love these similar fringe sandals by Jessica Simpson (Available HERE.) They are also currently price-matched on Nordstrom.com for $89.21.
