Brainstorming a gift for Mikki’s wedding day wasn’t the easiest task. To put it simply, the girl’s got it all! I had three requirements; I wanted it to be something that had a personal touch, something that she would never think to buy herself, and a gift for her rather than an item for the house.
We are finally back to blogging. Sorry for being M.I.A., but we have endless stories and pictures to share from our busy summer and of course all things wedding related. For the first post-wedding post, I had to share the gifts that I bought for my bridesmaids.
A few weeks ago I had my first of three bridal showers. This bridal shower meant so much to me because I actually decided to have it in my own house. Ryan and I moved into our house a few months ago, so it was the first opportunity for some of our friends and family to see our new home.
Once Ryan asked me to marry him, the first thing I panicked about was the bridesmaids. I already knew exactly who would be in my bridal party, but I wanted to ask them each in a cute and unique way. I had heard of people sending pre-made bridesmaid boxes with cute essentials for the big day, and I thought that was a really great idea. But, I wanted to do something a little bit more creative.
