Trend Alert: Off The Shoulder Tops

TGIT! I don’t know if that’s a thing but with the way this week has gone, I’m ready for a strong cocktail and a new episode of Scandal (have you guys been watching this season??). Anyways, we’re doing a little throw back Thursday to last weekend’s off the shoulder look and I wanted to share the details with you all.

We’re on board with the off the shoulder trend that seems to be popping up everywhere. And I mean everrrryyywhere. I’m dying to whip out all my spring tops, it’s (sadly) still winter but I’m not letting that stop me from wearing this trend!

This Free People off the shoulder sweater was a Nordstrom Rack score, and is the perfect transition piece from winter to spring. Not to mention it’s literally the softest thing I’ve ever worn. It’s like snuggling a blankie (which is what I really want to be doing 99% of the time #homebodyprobs).

Unfortunately they don’t have it online but I’ve seen it at multiple Racks, so go check out your nearest location! I paired it with my favorite Gap jeans and Aldo suede boots (similar style on sale here). Swamp out the knee highs for these booties or these fun mules for a more spring-friendly option. Perfect look for our favorite spring activity: patio drinking! 🙂

We rounded up some of our favorite off the shoulder sweaters to leave you warm through the last weeks of winter and keep you looking stylish well into spring! Shop the looks below!

This cozy sweater found at Nordstrom has a reversible neckline. Two looks for one price! It can be worn off the should or as a cowl neck and comes in five colors. Our favorites are burgundy and light grey.

We’re a sucker for a ruffled sleeve! Ruffles + Off the shoulder = heart eye emoji LOL! This sweater would look so cute with ripped jeans like these and a spring shoe like this Sam Edelman pair.

I love the subtle velvet details on this sheer top for a date night look. Drape a leather or a Moto jacket like this one over your shoulders for a little more coverage!

Looove the jewel tone of this cape-like top, another great option for a night out on the town. Pair it with a statement earring like this to-die-for duo from Baublebar to dress it up!

If you caught Mikki’s post on bell sleeves (read it here!) you know it’ll be a big trend for spring. This dramatic bell sleeve off the shoulder top is a great way to make a statement!

Okay I better stop before one too many of the above items make their way to my online shopping cart! Haha- Off to go sip my coffee until it’s time to swap it out with that cocktail I mentioned earlier😉
