Holiday Looks Part 2: Jumpsuits

Can you believe the holiday season is already here? It feels like Halloween was just yesterday! This year, I’m even more excited for the Holidays than usual. This will be our first Christmas, not only as newlyweds, but also in our new house! I’ve already gone crazy with the decorating, (stay tuned, Christmas Decor 101 post is coming soon) and I’ve actually already started my shopping.

Every year Ryan and I make sure to spend time with both of our families during the holidays. Both of our parents live within 15 miles of us, which makes things extremely convenient. My family usually has a big Christmas Eve feast, (crab legs, lobster bisque, etc.) then we play games and have drinks all night. We typically wake up early, start the day with mimosas, then open gifts as a family. After we finish up gifts on my side, we head over to Ryan’s grandparents house to spend time with his side of the family. We still haven’t figured out exactly what our schedule for the holidays will be this year, but I do know exactly what I’ll be wearing.

holiday jumpsuits trina turk

This Trina Turk jumpsuit is so flattering. It literally sucks you in, which will definitely be appreciated after we’ve dabbled in a few cocktails and appetizers, (am i right…?) You can easily throw a blazer or vest over it for a more professional look.

I paired the jumpsuit with these Christian Louboutin pumps, and this Rebecca Minkoff clutch for a classic look. If this jumpsuit isn’t your style, here are some of our other favorites.

If you’re loving the strapless look, this jumpsuit by  Missguided is amazing.. We also love this one by Adelyn Rae in burgundy for a pop of color.

This sequins number by Dress The Population is perfect for NYE too.

I just purchased this velvet jumpsuit by 7 For All Mankind for my family Christmas party. It’s so chic, and hopefully looks just as good when it’s on.

If you’re looking for something with a little more coverage, this jumpsuit by Jill Jill Stuart and this jumpsuit by Catherine Catherine Milandrino are both great options!

Let us know if you’d wear these jumpsuits for your holiday parties!
