How’s married life treating you? I feel like someone asks me this question at least once a week. We’re still married, so that’s a good sign, right? I mean, I’m no marriage expert, but we’ve lasted longer than Kim Kardashian’s 72-day nuptials, so I must be doing something right.
Tomorrow marks our 6-month wedding anniversary, so I wanted to share my thoughts on marriage thus far, and my tips for any soon-to-be wives.
Ryan and I have officially been married for a month now, and we were finally able to escape for a weekend of relaxation. We aren’t taking our honeymoon in St. Lucia until January, so as part of my wedding gift to him, I planned a quick weekend getaway. I didn’t want to go anywhere far, since I literally have zero vacation time left for work. After a bit of searching I stumbled on Lake Geneva.
Brainstorming a gift for Mikki’s wedding day wasn’t the easiest task. To put it simply, the girl’s got it all! I had three requirements; I wanted it to be something that had a personal touch, something that she would never think to buy herself, and a gift for her rather than an item for the house.
We are finally back to blogging. Sorry for being M.I.A., but we have endless stories and pictures to share from our busy summer and of course all things wedding related. For the first post-wedding post, I had to share the gifts that I bought for my bridesmaids.
